Current Openings

Part-Time Receptionist, Monday – Friday, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm.

The Receptionist will be responsible for general clerical duties including; receive and assist visitors and telephone callers and refer to the appropriate staff, sort incoming mail and documents and deliver to appropriate staff, provide general information on services and activities to the public, enter data accurately into appropriate data bases, generate reports as requested, prepare business correspondence and documentation, and operate a variety of office equipment such as copy machines, fax machines, calculators, mail equipment, TTY, etc. A strong sense of and experience in customer service is preferred as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Must register with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry and submit to a criminal background screening.  Persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.  Please submit resumes to Attn: Receptionist Position, ILRC, 1760 Southridge, Jefferson City, MO 65109.

 

Services Coordinator, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. 

The Services Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Program Manager and Executive Director to ensure Independent Living Resource Center meets its financial obligations, provides needed services and programs for persons with disabilities in Central Missouri, and continues to operate with high standards of customer service and professionalism.  The Services Coordinator will work with all levels of ILRC Staff as well as having contact with consumers, board members and the community.  The Services Coordinator will also act as a part-time Consumer Directed Services Program Specialist.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred and, one or more years of professional experience in the delivery or coordination of social, protective, medical, mental health, or rehabilitative services for senior or disabled adults, children, or families in a public or private agency preferred.
