ILRC Announces New Scholarship Opportunity

November 2015, Jefferson City, MO

Independent Living Resource Center, Inc. (ILRC) is excited to announce our newest program, The Sarah Borgmeyer Scholarship for Wonderland Camp. Sarah passed away in December, 2014 and her parents, Donna and Albert Borgmeyer, knew they wanted to honor her memory in some way. Sarah was a very beautiful and caring young lady. She could light up a room with her smile and everyone that knew her loved her. One of Sarah’s favorite things was attending Wonderland Camp and it is her family’s hope that this scholarship will give others the opportunity to attend camp as well.

The Borgmeyer Family, ILRC and Wonderland Camp have worked together to create the Sarah Borgmeyer Scholarship. Applicants must be between age 12 and 22 and be a resident of Callaway, Camden, Cole, Miller, Morgan, Moniteau or Osage County. $250 scholarships will be awarded for those wishing to attend a weekend or parent weekend camp opportunity.  Contact ILRC for more information or access the application here: Wonderland Camp Scholarship Application.
