3rd Annual Community Resource Fair
on October 28, 2015 at the Capital Mall in Jefferson City
Sponsored by Independent Living Resource Center, Inc.( ILRC),
Missouri Rehabilitation and Employment (MORE) Group, KRCG-TV, and Capital Mall.
Increasing awareness of community resources and supports which enable individuals to overcome barriers and work toward achieving their goals for the third year.
At the Community Resource Fair, individuals in the mid-Missouri area have the opportunity to gain knowledge and find valuable resources in a centralized environment on employment, education, financial, home improvement & home ownership, weatherization, assistive devices, community services, public housing, transportation, and more. The fair hosts a wide variety of support agencies and provides community members with assistance identifying services available locally and learning how best to access them. There is no cost to be a vendor and there is no cost to attend the fair.
We are so excited about the opportunity to build upon the success of last year’s Resources Fair. We are working hard to enhance the event this year so that even more people can learn about the work we all do and help support the needs of individuals in our communities.
