What is a TAP-Telephone?
TAP for Telephone is a Telecommunications Access program that provides basic voice telephone calling (both sending and receiving) and telephone alerting devices for individuals with disabilities in the state of Missouri through the delivery of adaptive telephone equipment.
Can I receive a TAP-Telephone?
- Are you a Missouri resident?
- Do you have telephone service in your home?
- Do you have a certified disability that prevents you from accessing or effectively using basic telephone services?
- Is your annual adjusted income lower than $60,000? For each additional dependent claim, $5,000 can be be added to the $60,000 base level
If you answered YES to all of these questions, then you may be eligible for a TAP-Telephone.
ILRC is a TAP-T Demo Site
Missouri Assistive Technology has of 30 demo center sites in the state of Missouri and ILRC is one of them. We serve the following counties: South Callaway, Camden, Cole, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, and Osage.
